CURD SKIMMING BOWL
Chip carved
Tatton Hall Farm, Cheshire

£185

Dimensions

L 50 (20") ; W 43 (17.2") ; H 8 cm (3.2")

Description

A large bowl with long stories - from the farm and kitchens supplying Cheshire's Tatton Hall (Grade 1 listed, built in 1716). The copper label from early 1900s reminds for it to be only used for skimming curds and whey - the bowl appears of earlier sub-continent origin.
