Description
A hand made, wrought iron, strapwork garden 3 seater bench - beautifully styled and proportioned.
The design has echoes of Regency styling from the early 1800s but the gauge confirms it as a later, Victorian, piece circa 1860s. It is in extraordinarily sound condition, very clean and with fresh "lead white" paint over the residual texture of previous coats applied in its lifetime. The straps and frame are all rivetted by hand and are exceptionally tight and solid.
