Description
Cut and carved by a C13th or C14th hand in a volcanic west country volcanic grey, red-tinged stone. Bold arches to each face. Much later, a set of holes has been drilled in the base to allow its use as a planter. It is an atmospheric, intriguing, evocative and stylish object open to as many uses, outside or in, as you care to imagine.
