Description
Extremely rare, distinctive and beautifully made : hand hammered in copper as three dovetail- joined panels (two sides and the base) this Victorian vessel was for making marmalade in a house on the Emerald Isle grand enough to have its own orangerie. Both "Owtside + In" this vat can nowadays be used as a planter easily accommodating a plant pot of up to 46 cm diameter. Or just make some marmalade !
