Description
A very near pair of 8 Gallon "Coppers". Hand beaten from heavy gauge copper sheet and rivetted. Deep pocked, aged patina, c1860-80. As planters, either filled with soil or as pot containers, these are efficient deterrents to slugs. Both of this pair are intact, fully watertight and can make beautiful aquatic features. If used as planters the bases can be drilled for drainage or left intact.
