Description
Victorian wheelbarrow from Q3 of the1800s. Hand sawn oak boards and poles, wrought iron stays and tyre - it was crafted together by the village carpenter and blacksmith.
The side panels detach for added versatility and practicality. Balletically light to use and easily manoeuvered, a very comfortable and well balanced barrow which is also perfect as a stage for herbs or other plants. Its mobility is extremely handy for herbs to be grown in full sun and brought to your kitchen door whenever required.
Robust and in full working condition having been well cared for with regular oiling and applications of pitch. Remnant holes show inactive, historic woodworm (we have treated it to be certain of no current activity).
As decorative as it is practical !
