Description

๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ A most atmospheric bust of a fox mask. Superlative lichen patina over Cotswold stone. Weathering suggests the collar was originally recessed into a stone plinth, either as a focal point or atop a gateway column. Far too strong and absorbing a character not to be admired closer to hand or indoors.
C19th, Gloucestershire.
