Description
A field hay basket for sheep or cattle turned to use as a table with grinding stone base, awaiting its circular glass top. The basket was blacksmith made in wrought iron and rivetted. It is unpainted and simply conditioned in linseed oil to preserve a bare metal patina without rust. An O+I piece with the basket dating from late 1800s.
