Description
A pot that predates and pre-empts Mark Rothko's efforts by 80 years ! A tall, unevenly thrown terracotta form with a slip of burgundy glaze. It came from the home farm of an old estate in Hampshire's New Forest where the residue from pickling has left a tremendously contrasting white interior. A very "O + I" piece that has kept growing in interest and presence through a long and active life.
