Description

Beautifully made and coloured this large feed sieve makes a serving tray and, when not in use, a wall decoration of rustic distinction. The steamed beech wood circular frame is strong as is the base of woven rushes, underpinned by a beech stretcher support. Originally used to sift dust and chaff from oats for horse feeds.
From a Hampshire farm.
